DANCING LESSONS centers on Ever, a young man with Asperger’s syndrome, who seeks the instruction of a Broadway dancer to learn enough dancing to survive an awards dinner. The dancer, Senga, however, is recovering from an injury that may stop her dancing career permanently.

Hosanna Phillips (she/her) is honored to be part or Oxford Wildcat Theater’s first Pro Stage production. She is a local actor and artist, appearing on many stages around metro-Detroit. Recent credits include Carrie in Drinking Alone, Allison/Google Girl in First Date, Donni in Nerve, and Handler in Talking With. When not on stage, she is lucky enough to play the real-life role of housewife. She is an aunt to two intelligent nieces, a dog mom, and an avid baker. Love to Kyle!

Adam, the Producing Artistic Director, is a proud 2010 graduate of Oxford High School. He holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance from Cedarville University and an M.F.A. in Acting from Regent University. With over 14 years of experience in the performing arts, Adam has honed his skills as a precise actor, innovative director, charismatic teacher, and tenacious producer. Most recently, Adam served as an entertainment supervisor and show creator at Silverwood Theme Park. He is passionate about sharing his love for storytelling through the performing arts with the community that has shaped him into the person he is today.
